PEDAL FOR THE MEDAL is a 3-day cycling event to raise awareness and funding for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics South Carolina.  This year marks the fourth year that the Greenville County Sheriff’s Department has sponsored this event. This is the first year that its open to the community for the cycling enthusiasts.

This year’s event will kick-off at the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center in Greenville and end at Patriots Point Park in Mount Pleasant.

The event will begin with a sendoff by the Sheriff’s Office Command Staff Members, local media outlets, as well as local Special Olympics athletes.
