Join us May 8-10th at Ft. Jackson in Columbia for the 2026 State Summer Games. This is a multi-sport event, featuring competition in Bocce (Under 21), Bowling (Over 21), Gymnastics, Swimming, Track & Field, Powerlifting, and Softball. Athletes will have the opportunity to receive free health screenings at Healthy Athletes and celebrate their success at Olympic Town.

The deadline to register is Monday, February 23, 2026.
This year’s competition will be held at Airport High School, located at 1315 Boston Ave, West Columbia, SC 29170 on Saturday March 21, 2026.
We are excited to introduce a new registration process this year using a Google Form. Both Area Directors and local coaches can use the link below to submit registration. Join us at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort for a weekend of learning, networking, and inspiration. This event is your opportunity to connect with key leaders in your area, gain valuable insights, and enhance your Special Olympics program.
Conference is scheduled for January 23 – 25 at the Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach. The theme is “Ride the Wave, Let me be Brave” with a Beach Bash to cap off Saturday night. A few things to note:
1. Registration costs this year will be $160 for general registration and $110 for athletes. Registration is now closed.
2. Hotel cost for the weekend with be a total of $383.92 for two nights. That includes all taxes, fees and parking.

***NEW THIS YEAR: The cut off for registration will be Thursday, January 8th. This includes all housing reservations, changes and/or additions. Individuals can cancel up until January 16th but after the 16th, there will be NO REFUNDS. Individuals will have a cancellation fee after the 16th.

Join us at the State House on Tuesday, March 31st from 11am – 12pm for this youth-run Unified Rally. This rally is to advocate for inclusion and acceptance through the Unified Champion Schools movement.
Join us for the 2026 Clemson Polar Plunge, benefiting Special Olympics South Carolina. This event, run by Law Enforcement Torch Run officers, is a huge fundraising effort that is critical in aiding our athletes. Proceeds raised go to help provide year-round sports training and competition for our athletes. Additionally, contributions and involvement in this great event help our athletes achieve their goals, live healthier lives, and have a sense of inclusion in the community.
